We have rain!!!!!!!!!!!

I know! I'm so happy!

My non-horsey FB friends treatedme like I'd gone crazy with my status going 'YAYAYAYAY IT'S RAINING!!!'

Yep we've got the much needed wet stuff too up here in Cumbria. My hay fields are in desperate need of a boost! Forecast to be like this for a couple of days!!! Grand job!

We've not had rain in almost a month, and it's set to stay that way for another 10 days at least.......:eek::eek: Fortunately I have a very attentive YO, who's right on top of things, so I don't have to worry too much about The Cob. He seems to be coping well with these extremes of temperatures that I've thrown at him since coming here - long may it continue!:D

But we really could use some of the wet stuff fairly soon now..........;) *crosses fingers tightly*

Lila - I watched my boy joyfully scrub his entire body into a patch of dug up mud this evening. He is more dun than anything else now, but he is very, very happy....
 
Please please send a good deluge to Surrey!!! We've had miserable drizzle all day - no rain of any consequence!! Our arena is desperate for a good downpour - as are the fields!!!!
 
Rain here too! Absolutely bucketed it down yesterday & is raining again here now :) thankfully got the last of the hay in on sunday :)
 
We had it yesterday, it was lovely. The horses went mad when we hacked out last night, they could actually canter and they took full advantage of us, bucking and bouncing as we went along!! Schooled today and it was nice not to be in a cloud of dust :D more forecast for us tomorrow I think :D
