Well, I say we, I didn't get to say goodbye, and I couldn't actually care less, little sh*t.
For those of you who hadn't read previous threads, we got a 15.1 coloured cob for my sister to happily hack around on as she isn't too confident. He was very rude on the ground and was taking the mickey.
Against my better judgement I reluctantly agreed to put the groundwork in with him. He had been stabled 24/7 all winter and it was obvious he had been allowed to get away with complete cold bloody murder with previous owners.
Last week my mum went to catch him with a headcollar and a bucket- instead of just pulling free he went to knock her over, and then bogged off. Mum doesn't really like smaller horses anyway and hates bad manners, so completely dismissed him. He was kicking the other horses so we put them in another field and then I went with a chifney to catch him. His nature is not typical bolchy cob, it is malicious- he purposely aims to knock you over. I tried three times and I kept hold of him. The third he stopped dead still while I was leading him in. I turned around to move closer to his shoulder to push him on and the little b*stard kicked out with his front leg, I moved backwards and he just charged at me, caught me on my inner thigh on my way to the floor and then bogged off.
He went yesterday, I couldn't be happier.
