we survived our first solo outing :)

seeing as it was such a beautiful day I decided that we should attempt to go for a hack by ourselves

aside from a few little napping incidents, he was really well behaved - even when a silly van driver passed us going far too fast.

on the plus side, two lovely guys in a fillshill arctic stopped to let us turn before they passed us
my poor boy was knackered by the time we got back to the yard

I had to laugh: barking dog, no issues - 4 inch puddle, wouldn't walk through it
my horse will do anything to avoid getting his feet wet - I'd like to think it's because he knows how much I spent on his boots and he wants to keep them clean common sense tells me it's because he's 'special'
