We Walked!!!

After sitting on buddy yesterday for first time, today decided to get him walking a bit with my mom leading him.

He stumbled a bit to start with but i think that was me being a bit nervous because the kids on the yard were quite hyper and i didnt want them to spook him. But as i calmed down he started walking great for me, didnt do anything wrong and changed the rein and it didnt bother him at all.

I can't wait now till i can just ride him by myself, people at yard say in next few weeks i should be able to walk and trot him by myself...will be great if that is the case

Well done! I got my boy walking and halting on his own off the lead today! I think today is the 3rd time I have been on him - but bless him he isn't the sharpest knife in the box!
I almost thought for a moment today that we were going to get a trot as well - but I think we will save that for the next time!!

I am definitely! Hopefully next time I am on I will get some pics! I've had him with me about 4 months now - but when I first had him he had been virtually abandoned for over a year, and he was very very rude and pushy. He is such a sweetheart though - and he just loves having loads of attention!
