I'm home for the weekend from uni, so thought we'd treat my girls and take them out into the local woods for a walk.
Of course, Misty (Goldie) found water so it turned into a swim and a bath when we got back!

Misty's had what they think might be a mini stroke 3 days ago - she kind of went all glazed over and was trembling with her head to one side then she kind of came round after 10 minutes and was sick then was fine. The vets said to rest her for a day and then carry on as normal but to expect another stroke in 6-8 weeks time as it may happen :( any ideas?

Happy dogs :) They are lovely! Hope Misty doesn't have a repeat episode; she certainly looks like she's forgotten all about it!
 
Looks like they have had a great time. The dogs I've known who've had mini strokes (vestibular syndrome) have had more but certainly it was a lot longer than 6 - 8 weeks between them, and they kept going for a long time with the occasional blip.
 
Vet has said he's not going to treat or investigate unless it happens on a regular basis - he said she certainly pulled herself out of it quite quickly and was eating and drinking normally by the next day.
As you can see, she definitely seemed to be none the worse 2 days later! :) thank you, they are both lookers - Misty is the poser of the pair though!!

ETA - the sight of my GSD, Tara, that far into water is a sight VERY rarely seen!!!!!!! Normally, she refuses to get her paws wet, let alone anything else - it was quite funny and unfortunately I missed it with the camera but there was a little bank into the water - of course they both went bounding in to play, tripped on this bank and fell in! Think Tara was horrified :o
