Sorry, it's a bit self indulgent!

I hacked Grace out for the second time today and we went over the motorway bridge all by ourself. We even had a little trot and a little canter while we were out!

She was a bit spooky at things like motorbikes and push bikes

but other than that I was really proud of her.

I am going to keep taking her out with another horse a few more times, and then we will venture out on our own I think. She was good enough today to make me confident to take her out by herself!

Do you think it is better letting them get used to going out with a companion (he was a very silly companion today, but it did not faze her at all

) or do you think it is a good idea to get her going out alone so she doesn't always feel as though she needs another horse to lead her past scary things?

I am loving bringing on a youngster, it is so much fun and really rewarding!

I don't know how I am going to let her go in 10 1/2 months time...

You're not having a blonde moment, I am just a secretive bugger when I want to be... Let's just say she is on a 12 months trial and my Dad and I have already sat down and had a talk about the young lady!
