I went up to see Neddy today and have a little ride with the group.
He left the yard fine and let me on ok too
First part of the ride was rather uneventful, we had some nice canters etc..
As we were walking along a rather busy road, we were past by not only a loud group of motorbikes, but we witnessed a crash!
One of the motorbikes was nice enough to actually slow down (unlike the rest of the traffic!) a car was apparently in too much of a hurry to wait until the bike sped up and it over took, right into the path of another car! This was on a straight bit of road! How stupid do you have to be?! Thankfully they only took each others wing mirrors off, they didn't even stop!
After that incident (which the horses were all fine about, none of them even flinched!) and still on the same road, we came across something I haven't seen or heard of before...
...A ploughing contest :O
There must have been 50+ tractors, hundreds of people etc!! They had huge flappy signs etc!
Again, the horses were fabulous Ned had a little look, but so did I! It was quite a sight!
