Well it had to be done! Pinky's mummy is going to be brought back into work at the end of the month so we had to seperate them. Unfortunatly we dont have the facilities to keep them near one another like some people do so it was a case of litrally ripping them apart and putting mummy (tizzy) on the horsebox and driving her to her new temp field
fortunatly she was never the clingy kind so was no trouble to lead away.. the foal however was a very distressed even though she was with her companion coco (a pro having been weaned for a month now!) we shut them in with the top door closed, and although i had taken every precausion to make sure she couldn't hurt herself ( i even took the wall mounted salt lick off!!) she decided to nose dive at the door and scraped her beautiful pink nose! It was horrid hearing her screaming for her mummy
but she calmed down after an hour or so and has quickly become attached to her mate coco!

Perhaps someone can help me work out what they are to each other? Coco's mum is Pinky's mum's mum BUT Pinky's dad is Coco's dad's dad!! are the cousins or auntys or WHAT!?
