I HAVE A FILLY YEARLING ALL WEANED. BUT I HAD TO PUT MOTHER & YEARLING BACK TOGETHER AGAIN, AS I WAS COMING BACK FROM FRANCE & INTO LIVERY STABLES, TROUBLE IS NOW THAT THEY HAVE BONDED AGAIN, CAN ANYONE HELP ?, SHOULD I JUST DO THE WEANING PROCESS AGAIN.

Is the filly still drinking? If she is you'll have to start again, if not, unless it is a problem, leave them be.

My weaned babies always go back in with Mum after she has dried up, they may try to drink but she'll tell them to forget that idea pretty sharpish, they learn.
 
Agree with Enfys. My 15 month old colt is back with mum who is in foal again. They love each other to bits. If they were wild horses he would stay with her until he joined a batchelor group. He doesn't suckle as she was away at stud for two months.

I like the arrangement. They will be separated by an electric fence at the end of this year.
 
my little fellow wont get chance to go back with mum, he is off to devon, but as a rule i put mine back with mum if they stay.
