Wearing fly masks over night?

My horse is still recovering after he had an eye ulcer and conjuntivitis 3 days ago, obviously its still sore and healing but he goes out over night on the weekend so should I leave a mask on him to block flys and sun light as he is sensitive to both as you can imagine! Any advice very much apprieciated

I think it would be a very sensible idea so long as the paddock he is in is free of possible hazards as his vision won't be the best at night with the mask on.

The field is large and flat he's out in a herd and has his best buddy always close by so he should be well looked after I hope

I always leave fly masks on 24/7 and have never had a problem.

I've left flymasks on overnight before & had no problems. Hope he gets better soon! x

I have never had any problems leaving fly masks on over night, but I make sure any horse is fully aware of where its field boundaries are first.
