i've just looked on the met office web site, apart from a little warmer weather this thur and fri they are giving ice frost freezing fog and snow until into the new year when temperatures will remain below average apparently. Frozen water troughs til easter anyone?

Don't do it! Look at forecasts that is.

The trick is to take one day, or two if you must, at a time.

You wake up, see blue/grey/black sky and think "Oh great/bleurgh/grr" as appropriate, set foot out of the door, hasten back in to add or remove layers as required then get out there and get on with it :)

You can also look at it this way, each day is one day closer to Spring, Summer, Autumn...........Christmas 2011 ;)

"sighs".

Had better stock up on water containers, rubber skips (had several crack on me so far) and rubber gloves....

Is very pretty though. And no mud. Don't think the horse's feet have ever been so clean!:D

I've always found Joe *******i's blogs on Accuweather to be pretty good; he says that the cold spell will last until New Year and then temperatures will be normal to just above average, I can cope if there's an end in sight!

Ha, his name's been edited out, but begins with a B ;)
