Weatherbeeta Detach A Neck Combo Rug

Does anyone have any experience of these?
I have the full neck orican combo rug without the detach a neck if you know what I mean and it rubbed out all the bottom half of my horses mane this winter.
Want to sell this one and thinking about the Detach a Neck combo rug.
Does anyone have any experience of this rubbing?
I know my normal weatherbeeta rug with a separate hood does not rub, just wondered if the detach a neck is the same idea and design

Yes... actually I have both of thse rugs!!!
The full neck one rubs out my horses mane in a 3" gap every year. Last year I bought another horse...very similar type and bought the combo rug for him. It didn't rub at all. Pity I can't afford to replace the other one. They are such nice rugs.

I've got both and no rubs all winter in either....
