I have a rug wrecker. Amigo mio fly rugs last around a week has anyone tried the weatherbeeta comfitec ripstop? or Rambo flybuster? are they strong? its for a heavy cob who usually takes a 6ft 6" will he need a size bigger or are they well sized?

I bought one recently (i.e within the last month) for my (broad) Welshie. I find it true to size and it has so far withstood mutual grooming with his buddy. Despite the heatwave, he hasn't got over-warm (unlike in his Premier Equine).

I too found the Mio much too flimsy.

So far so good.

Got the older WB Ripshield and really like it. It's strong but very thin so not too hot. Mine is a wb fit horse, he's a tb but very broad across the shoulders.

The Weatherbeeta fly rugs I have used have all stood up to a fair bit of rough and tumble. Sadly my first one needs to be retired, but after four years of almost constant summer wear, I'll accept that :P
