weatherbeeta landa combo freestyle?

hi does anyone have one of them, my mate got one but had to get 2 sizes bigger as they came up small? has this happened to you?

used to love weatherbeata but this new freestyle doesnt seem to fit anything- i was very very disappointed with mine- i bought Landa, Orican and Taka - out of four totally different horses who share the same size- none of them fitted- I REGRET EVERY HARD EARNED POUND I SPENT ON THEM

I got the weatherbeeta taka and it fitted perfectly!

I have the landa combo, it fits him well. Haven't found the weather beeta rugs come up short. Don't slip round at all, and that is important to me as my lad has huge withers and they get sore if his rugs slip.

I have a WB landa lite freestyle and a WB landa m/w combo freestyle for my old pony with highish withers. I find that the front slips down and pinches her shoulders where the front freestlye gussets are. If i fasten the front straps tighter to prevent this, when she bends down to eat, the rug presses down hard on her withers-ouch!!!
She has a shires and an amigo rug that dont slip down like the WB's do. I havent found WB rugs to be on the short side.

I bought two Weatherbeeta Freestyle combo rugs last year from ECW. I think they were Taka. Anyway, it fitted one of my horses OK, the smaller narrow horse, but on my other horse that was broader it was totally unwearable. With the neck done up, she was trussed up like a turkey and not able to put her neck down at all. So yes, you probably need to go up a size with the combos just so the horse can get its head down. It's not a design I would recommend though.

I've not had the combo, but I had the landa, standard neck (MW & LW) on a 17.1hh ShirexTB and on a 16.1hh WB and a 15hh cob type (15hh & 16.1hh have worn exactly the same rug! - though not together

) and I think they're FAB!!! Don't move, don't leak, fit beautifully, don't rub and the tail flap is awesome IMO!!!

I have 2 weatherbeeta landa combos freestyle but i think that the shoulder area is not very generous i had the same problem with the freestyle flyrug! their own design i found to be more generous around the shoulder!

I'm not too keen on the freestyle design, so I buy the old (and better) design for half the price!
