I love Weatherbeeta rugs and realised my decision of buying 2 cheap stable rugs for the mares was a bad one....rubbish, don't fit properly at all. So does anyone have any of the following stable rugs....

Any comments good or bad please?!

Thanks

I've got the second one and love it - it fits my mare really nicely, is quite deep and doesn't move or rub her.

I have the first one in last year's colours, I don't know if they've improved it since then but the outer is a bit soft for if you have a very, very mucky horse like mine. It stood up really well to Maiden's poo-then-pee-then-lie-in-it attitude to being stabled! The second one is like the first but it definately has the slightly more muck-resistant outer (or at least the denim blue version does). The third one I have but again last season's (my god I must go rug shopping

) and it's fab, never been a problem with it! I actually have a wardrobe of Weatherbeeta stable rugs for my horse - the 110g, about the last in the country of the old 200g, and the 300g Jaspers, and the 360g Belmont. I love them all!
Oh and I agree with whoever it was that replied first who said that they are nice and deep, I always have trouble finding my wide ID suitable rugs but these are great.

I have the first and third (in two weights), and also their outdoor rugs. I love Weatherbeeta rugs - they have fitted all my horses well - are excellent value and have lasted very well indeed!! Even though the lining in their stable rugs is satin, they always stay in place and never slip (unlike some others I have seen on our yard!)

I haven't got those actual ones but all the weatherbeetas I do have (ie underug, high neck and turnouts) fit nicely and have worn well.

i dpnt have one one of those, ive got the belmont combo with neck and it is really nice-really warm and polishes his coat!!defo reccomend

I have the Belmont and it's a lovely rug. Fits nicely, came up perhaps a little large on my horse, and slides maybe an inch to the side. Never rubs. The belly straps would fit an elephant though - I've had to tie flat knots in them to get them short enough (I do have a TB).
Wouldn't hesitate to get another Belmont, and quite fancied the Belmont combo until I realised I have far too many rugs already and my OH will leave me if I buy another...

Ive just sold most of those rugs on ebay! Loved them but too small for the lanky thing.
Rate them highly, the stable rugs always fit as opposed to their T/O rugs often just fitting certain types of horses.

I have the second one too. fits really well, nice and deep so doesnt rub the wither. Also ive had mine about 3 winters now and it washes up well. I have a old very thin skinned tb x and he never gets rubbed by this rug as the inside is shiney so not so much friction. On the down side its light blue, but now sort of a s**t by moonlight sort of colour

Both my horses have the second one and I have to say they are the best stable rugs I've ever had! They fit soooo well and never move and don't get tight on the chect at all.

I have all of them and they all fit well apart from the Belmont which was brand new a few months back, the surcingles are huge, don't know why they have made them so long on their new rugs

I have the Belmont with a neck. It comes up quite large and does rather hang off him, but it keeps him very warm and wears well.

I have the belmont combo for my cob and it does come up big. The cross over straps are just short enough on their shortest length and he's by no means skinny!!

It does keep him super warm, doesn't move and hasn't rubbed so definitely worth the money
