Weatherbeeta turnout with fleece neck?

Has anyone used the new weatherbeeta's with a fleece snug neck on them yet? I really like the look of them but it looks like the fleece sticks out so if they're turned out in the rain then won't the fleece get absolutly dripping wet and then soak the horse?

So anyone used them and does this actually happen or does it work and stay dry?

I haven't used them myself, but the fleece part is waterproof. So is there to stop the rain/water from running down the horses neck..

I have bought it. The fleece part is NOT waterproof! Bit of a strange design if you ask me. I only put it up on really cold frosty dry days, in the rain I've just folded it back under the hood. Quite a lot of straps too!

Actually I do like it, i just wonder why they never put a light waterproof material over the fleece ?

Oh.. Sorry I was told it was.. Was looking to get one myself.. But maybe not now..?

I've found the fleece takes ages to dry, as if caught in a heavy shower it's soaked. Perhaps designed for people with rug rooms and dryers?!
