weatherbys passport

have a thoroughbred with weatherbys chip but no passport.Weatherbys tell me it will cost 1400 to get one is this correct any info appreciated.

not in my experience, do you know the horse's name and do you want the horse registered as a tb ? I had a similar situation, got a vet out to confirm the horse was the one I said it was and he filled in the marking page for the passport which I sent off to Weatherbys with a letter explaining what had happened to the original passport. They sent me a full tb passport the price I can't remember exactly but it was around £100.

thanks for that not too bothered about having her registeted as tb but since she has the chip it would nice to have her breeding
