Ive just got a new anky dressage saddle. Ive bought some winter webbers to see how comfy they are compared to normal stirrup leathers, then was looking at buying a nice leather pair if I prefered them.
Well I do love the webbers comfort wise. but when I was riding yesterday one slid of the stirrup bar, no biggy as I was only in the school and my boys a saint but worried me a bit as I wouldnt want this happening again.
has this happened to anyone before? was thinking maybe because the wintecs are thinner than the leather ones the slip off more easily?
I dont have the clip up on the stirrup bar as I was always told this is dangerous if you fall off and get your foot caught in the stirrup?
