Where on earth do you start???

Can you design it yourself or do you need someone to do it for you (I have some idea about designing and training... but in magazines not websites)?

Also, how on earth do you go about buying the web address, etc. etc.?

Does anyone have any examples of their livery yard's website so I can have a quick look?

I'm not trying to advertise myself, but you did ask!
I am just starting up a livery yard listings website and am offering free 1 page sites for livery yards. I am hoping to make money from advertising on the site (hopefully enough to keep a horse in the future!) I am hoping to get as complete a list as possible by making it free.
If you have any comments let me know!

If you just want a domain name (web address) just let me know .co.uk cost £8 for 2 years

My friend did mine for me, he could do yours most probably. If you're interested PM me. He'll be pretty cheap.

Here's mine, it needs updating

i did it using one of the freebie website builders - was veryyy easy and then a computer buff just bought a domain for me, and did it as a mirror site, so i just go onto the freebie site builder to update it etc and its all done.
i really would suggest its worth having, its quite amazing how many people you get from having a website.

Thanks... I definitely want a website and am finding all of yours incredibly helpful
