Ok, so after trying to sell my horsebox for ages and having awful luck, I want to give it a final push at a lower price to sell before summer.

I'm reluctant to pay £25 per ad though, as there are so many free sites out there.

So far i've got it on preloved, friday-ad, equine adverts and free-ads.

Are there any others I've missed?

Not free but have you tryed Ebay!!!

cool, thanks all!!

Might look at ebay too but it looks like the fees would be really high :S

has anyone here sold a lorry thru ebay?

Yes, Ebay is crap, one guy bought my lorry, got me to tax it, then ignored all contact, it had 57 watchers and 1 bid. Don't bother with Ebay - just a bunch of time wasters contacting you!

I found my 3.5T van on preloved. Is a 3.5T or a 7.5T. I'd be surprised if you struggled to sell a 3.5T on the sites you've listed. The decent ones that were priced right were sold within a few days when I was looking.

I think the time of year doesn't help, now the snow is clearing and people start thinking about spring the horsebox market will pick up.

There is a horsebox section on the for sale part of the Horse Gossip forum, the adverts there seem to generate some interest usually

havent sold a horse box (did buy one though) but have sold 2 cars, one on bidding, which worked out expensive (sold for £1000 took £75!)
cheaper to sell with a classified add £15 30 days. sold car in 4!

good luck:)
