Well wee Annie has been coming along very nicely the past couple of weeks, very happy with her
Although we did have a blooper today when she attempted to catapolt me out the front door with a very unexpected large buck
A stern talking to sorted her out and continued nicely with no other episodes. Shes loving her hacking, we even ventured down the main village road were we meet a very large scary tractor so therefore warranted a spook, but appart from that she was a saint
Shes more spooky in the arena than out hacking lol strange mare!! Also started troting her into some wee x poles but her legs are that long she uses them as raised troting poles
although the 2 troting poles into a jump warranted a stop, look and a "Ok mummy thats not that scary!" moment
But were in no rush as shes still growing so we've decided not to jump her for another month or two and to get some lessons so were on the right track. Any way onto bitting now - do the full cheek snaffles help with steering? Shes in a loose ring french link with bit guards atm but we sometimes have steering malfunctions lol i have tryed her in a Nueu Schule Team up and she hated it!! We had no steering, bolting and ears in my face
... And for some piccys
