Whats everyones plans for the weekend then?

Archie is doing his first 2day dressage competition with me. We're just going to a local venue (Sparsholt) and staying over night - i thought it would be a good first one for him as hes competed there lots before.

Im not on until 3:22 (N38 UAF) on the saturday, then 2:47 (N38 AF) on the sunday and 3:50 (E43 UAF) on the sunday. So theres going to be lots of hanging around sunday morning, but never mind - im just looking at it as really good experience for him.

It was RC qualifiers for us but they have postponed the sj on Saturday and with the forecast so bad for Friday,I wouldn't be surprised if they do the same with Sunday when its the dressage.Weather is driving me mad as I work shifts and have to give loads of notice for holidays and booked this weekend and now may have to try to book other dates and other members are already committed to other things on new dates and can't compete
WEATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Owens got his first Intro on Saturday at Iping. (Quiver!)
He's not really had enough prep what with everything being cancelled...he is sooo spooky and gets shell shocked at comps, but we will see how we get on, will just be pleased to complete TBH. He has been jumping well at home and have got a jump lesson with Sam Griffiths today- so have a small ray of hope that things will work out!

Sunday I must clean the car. Also got to break in the shetland pony and somehow attempt to get it doing some form of work!

Good luck at Sparsholt PG !!

Saturday: off to Patchetts to finally do some SJ, Honey needs the break from dressage
Sunday: Mum and I are off to a car boot sale to have a nosy about before we go and sell stuff
Monday: Snowball Farm BD to do N22 and N33, my instructor is doing N33 but thankfully she is an open rider! I normally do quite well there so fingers crossed I can come back with some more points and a rosette!

Good luck P_G, am sure Archie will be a star

Saturday im on the JCB again digging and re-doing the water jump. Then saturday afternoon just relaxing and riding.

Then Sunday I am taking Cruz XC schooling in prep for next weekend at LM, was meant to have a jump lesson last night but she was coughing and coughing poor thing, she had a bit of a cough when she was vetted and the worst of it is coming out now. So will hopefully jump her a bit tomorrow.

Helping my friend with her horse at Oldencraig tomorrow - She's doing 2 medium tests. I've not been there before so am looking forward to it (if it doesn't chuck it down that is!!)

Then over the weekend just playing with Mickey. Will school Saturday and do a bit more hacking (have lost my nerve with it due to injury). I miss my long hacks though coz we used to go everywhere and loved it.....
