Weekend Report............Great Day

Went off to Vale View Equestrian Centre on Saturday for the Eventer Trial (SJ/XC Comp), bit of an early start left the yard at 7.30am, but well worth it. Arrived at around 8.45 to mist and freezing cold

, pootled off to walk the SJ course first, not bad, rather inviting, then into the indoor for the XC side, well flowers everywhere and loads of fences, my main worry was how the hell was I going to remember two courses

, one with 9 fences and the XC with 14, well we did it.......... Zara was on her toes and ready to go, she flew round the SJ for a nice clear and then straight in for the XC, well you would have thought she had done this before, she was off and away, I have never had so much fun, it was great

............We clocked up a rather fast time, but just couldn't beat the ponies, but we came 4th out of around 30 odd.............All I have to say is roll on the next one, it was so much fun

Wow well done! Sounds like you had a great time. Love the pic too.

What class did you do? I've done the combined training there and let's just say the course was *cough* up to height!!

Thank you...... Did Class 1 Intro, it was nice and yes some fence up to height. But I have never had so much fun "with my clothes on"

Well done!! DId you stay and watch the bigger classes? A friends "dressage horse" won the PN! Looks like alot of fun though, i'll be there for the ones after Xmas with the wild one!!

Thank you, yes watched the PN was the horse a nice black. Going again in December, it was just so much fun.

I went to Solihul in the end.

I decided to go there because it was senior at Solihull and you'd be against ponies at VV- Can you tell me - Were there many ponies there?
