Well, week got off to a bad start, on Monday Mister decided that he was not well, I knew this straight away as he did not go to bite me when I greeted him in the morning.
.. he was also very quite and did not neigh..TPR all ok, but had quid his food everywhere and had not eaten breakie...cut it short, it was something in his mouth..got vet up, sedated him he had ulcer on inside of his mouth, just a little one and a slightly swollen tongue...poss allergic reaction or eaten a wasp!! he also had his teeth rasped for good measure!!Next day he was right as rain, think he had "man flue" little bugger!!
On Frid nite I was eating an "overcooked" chip... friends fault calling me when I was cooking and could be something to do with the wine I was drinking too!!
anyways my tooth split in half!! Agghhh.. I hate dentist.. emergency treatment Sat morning, petrified, hubby said if you dont go you will not be riding... blah blah... £420 later... had part of a route canal done.. rest this evening...GULP!!
Sunday feeling tired as not eaten much, brain not working... I had got everything ready for show etc... went to Yard, hubby came up later with box.... I had forgotton my shirt/jacket/jods!! EKK!!! Hubby had to drive home and back and made it in 45 minutes (normally round trip would take best part of 1 1/2 hours in traffic) Just glad I was not in the car!!! Mister then decided it would be great fun to start rearing and bunny hoping on his back legs in the box.not good at over 17hh.. now I was really not in the mood to go ..and for once I told my horse off !!! He was very shocked! He would not stand still whilst I bandaged him etc... grhhhhhhhhh!!! So I did smack him.on his butt. hurt my hand more than him!
Any... went to Hastingwood, he was a very good boy, I rode hell for leather..yep beads of sweat now getting the norm!!! We rode Elem. 43 and got 73.44% and then in the second E53 we were both pooped... (my excuse anyway!!) and we got 67% Luckily we managed to win both and now qualified for Summer Regionals!!! Sorry very self-indulgent
but only just started elementary and this sideways stuff!!!!
I think I now need to book up some lessons, quickly !!!! (if I survive the dentist tonight
