weight for a tb ex racer

You will get a huge range of replies to this. Depends on the horse and the ability of the rider. Is it a light and spindly TB or a chunky one with good bone. Is it fit and in work will also be a consideration. Also the horse a heavier experienced rider with a good seat and balance better than a lighter rider who rides heavy. You could be looking at anywhere between 9 and 15st.

How big is the horse, a light 15.1 flat racer type or a big rangy 17h NH type?

The horse will be able to carry more weight once the back has muscled up.

I was told for a very light horse out of training, 11 stone max and that's including the saddle but obviously this will vary between each horse.
