Going to loan my 15.2, 19 year old gelding out and have had some enquiries from people, I've asked their weight and been told 9st, 10st, 11st.
Now I know that a lot depends on how they ride, hold themselves etc, but all I know is that I'm 8.5st and that suits him just fine.
So what would be a realistic weight limit for a lightweight WB? dam was 100% TB, sire was a WB (one of Cor de la bryere's sons)
I don't want him to suffer or be uncomfortable but equally, I don't want to rule out good homes just cos I think the rider sounds heavy!
