My 30 years Han/TB was fine weight wise till January and then dropped serious weight. Her teeth have been done, she has been wormed for tape and normal worming. She is 15.2 fed twice a day and rugged up. She stresses staying in and won’t eat breakfast if in. Hay is not plentiful at night as other horses are more dominant than her, role reversal for her. I am feeding Bailey no.4 and Total Evolve as she won’t eat without
the Evolve, she used to go without rather than eat! Her coat is not curly and she is shedding. She has pot belly but ribby and lean on quarters. Cushing’s is spring in to mind, any advice as vets only doing emergency work at moment. She was on Cushing tablets for six weeks then came off and put weight on over the summer but has done same thing losing from January onwards
