Now I'm an old lady 5ft and weighting 9stone 8oz(cann't do kgs) and am told I'm a stone overweight, my old staffiex bitch who is 12 weights 22kgs, but she has arthistis and really doesn't want to go on long walks anymore and like me she is on a sort of restricted diet and I keep getting told of by the vets(I lost count as they dont stay very long) that she's over weight and could get diabetic, but she has had a heary murmer fron the time we picked her up from a rescue centre(she was 10 months old). Had an old horse several years ago going into his 30's and feeding him as much as he could eat to keep his weight on,but he kept losing it in the winter. So why am I and my dog told to cut down, but to feed old horses up,could it just by nature.

Don't know, but I hope to God I come back as a thoroughbred - I'll be able to eat constantly and not put a pound on! I'll be actively encouraged to eat.......
