She was overweight - i dont think she looks too bad, but no doubt h&h members will give me an honest view???

Im riding/lunging 5/6 days a week now, i wil post a before pic if anyone wants one...

haha no congratulations more of a "how did you let her get THAT fat"?!!!

basically i rode for 15 mins and had enough and gave her too much hay.

Although she was a touch porky I have definitely seen fatter on here, and now she isn't fat so congratulations!

If you were only riding for 15 mins previously did you build up work slowly and how long did the transformation take?

Wish I could get weight off our pony like you have your horse, is is a little rolly poly riding and lunging but his body seems to be hanging on to his fat

Just work.... built her up slowly over the past 5 weeks to be able to work for 40 mins without dripping too much. we dont hack - so a combination of schooling/lunging (with side reins) and blasts over the fields

I said i wanted her eventing fit (we do dressage ) so lots of work - 6 days a week!!!
