Weighted boots -- rules?

Hi im trying to write an assignment on weighted boots. Im struggling to find the rules. I think i have found them now in BSJA, FEI, IS, and BE. but i wondered if anyone knows what the 500g rule was introduced in BSJA/IS/FEI showjumping? im pretty sure it was 2008 for BE. Any information around the rules will be useful, thanks.

you could ring BE an ask.
FEI - it should be on their website.
BE i think it was late 07 or 08, some people got caught out last year iirc. i think it was at the Olympics that they were taking off hind boots after the sj and weighing them...
i can fish out my 07 and 06 BE rulebooks if you want, and check, it'll take me a min to find them though.

Hey, thanks for the help! its ok, im pretty sure they all went along with FEI which i think came out in the year beginning 08. thats what im going for, just have to hope my lecturer doesnt know either!

Was it Phillip Dutton who was disqualified at the olympics when his boots were found to be too heavy. I think they could be 500g, but not sure if that's each or a pair.
