??

Yes i have 2 weimaraners, they are very clingy and love human company, if you work long hours then they are not for you, they do not like to be left alone and will bark and if they are not trained will chew up anything, i use a dog crate and it sorts that problem out! They also do like a lot if exercise, the best place to look for one is on epupz website.
I have a litter of pups at the moment that are only 6 days old. I love the breed and if i had a bigger house would have more.
If you need anymore information on the breed just ask away.

I haven't got one myself but know lots of people who do and they are all fab! Bit like my dalmatian as they also love having people around and as ladylisa said, they do need exercise but the ones I've come across have all been really cuddly and friendly and make great pets if you can give them enough time

Have you tried contacting breeders? Perhaps if you got in touch with the breed club:

http://www.weimaranerclubofgreatbritain.org.uk/

they can let you know about puppies / breeders to speak to

If you look on websites like epupz be very careful about checking the temprament of the parents and KC papers before buying a puppy cos although good breeders advertise on there - anyone can advertise, so you just need to be careful you don't get one from a puppy farmer or similar

A friend of mine has bred them for many years and they are truly energetic, intelegent and loving dogs.

If you are looking for a pup PM and i will pass you on her phone number she is based in essex not far from basildon.

only ones i have worked with have been a bit snappy BUT they were pampered so they thought they could get away with it all. i do think the bitches are better than the boys but like i said never worked with a good example of the breed

we looked into getting one a couple of years back and a friend of a friend breeds tham so i had a word with her about the breed; she said that for the first couple of years they are quite manic and need loads of training/attention but after that period they are a joy to own, so it seems if you can stick out the first 2 years you;re onto a winner!!! we dont have one but only because we decided they would be a bit big for the spaniel to play with!

I have one!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amber (Bahars Blue Pearl) is now 11 years old and an absolute sweetie, does have a dislike to the neighbourhood cats that wander into the garden though (which is a death wish in my house). She is not the brightest button in the sewing box, but I also have 3 GSD's and they run rings round her, much to their amusement. She is the most incredible THIEF when it comes to food, you name it and she'll eat it, she especially loves POTATOES RAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know when she has done something she is not suppose to, as she smiles at me, yes wrinkled lips, teeth and all. I just have to walk into the room and ask WHO DID IT, the GSD's all run over to her, as if pointing and she just smiles.

Such a character, she is very special.

Oh forgot to say, because she has just reminded me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She does bark more than the GSD's. When I hear her bark, I roll over and go back to sleep, when the GSD's bark, I call the police!!!!!!!!!!! (only joking, well not really)

Yes they do live in the house, but have a rather convenient, large dog flap.

Had one once. She was a sweetie with "her people" but very snooty with other people. She'd turn her head away if a stranger came up to her. My partner took her when we parted and I heard she bit a policeman! I belong to a gundog club and I have to say that the only dogs we have problems with is Weimeraners. They tend to bite first and ask questions later. I now have GSP's and they are much more friendlier towards people and other dogs. Would never own another Weimie.

We breed them as well as Hungarian Vizsla, we have just had Puppes, they are about 2 weeks old but all were sold ages ago. Have you looked into lines etc, woudl you work or show it?
