Weird behaviour

Roxie was out in the garden for last wee before bed. She started barking so I went out to call her back in. She screamed as if in pain and then slunk her way back inside.

She’s now hiding behind the sofa and won’t come out. She wags her tail when I call her, but she won’t let me near her.

Such unusual behaviour for her as she’s usually all about having cuddles.

Will keep an eye on her for a while before I go to bed, but just wanted to share with someone as husband is away so I have no-one to talk it through with.

I hadn’t thought of that, hopefully that’s all it was!

I’ve managed to persuade her out from behind the sofa with some treats. She seems to be walking ok and has agreed to some snuggles so hopefully she’ll be fine in the morning.

Pleased to report she’s back to normal this morning, including bounding upstairs first thing and taking over the bed ?
