I couldn't find the original thread, but I now have a very weird and creepy item to add - a blood stained duvet with a bag of unknown contents next to it ?

This wasn't just a small amount of blood either. Also, while an area common for fly tipping, if its "innocent" why not just take it to the tip which is 5 minutes up the road if its innocent
The bag looks like it has a plank of wood in. I did not check the contents of the bag, no way I had intention of doing so! Bag was similar size to a pillow case....

I have emailed the photo to the police, just in case. It could be innocent but.... ? maybe I've just been reading too many horror stories!

Crikey! I really hope there’s an innocent explanation ?.
Not out hacking and not me, but early one morning a friend was taking her dog for their usual walk through the woods when she saw what appeared to be a mop of blonde hair draped across a fallen log. As my friend crept nearer she could see it was a naked woman, lying flat out with the log as a pillow - and not moving. She almost scarpered but took a couple more steps before realising it was a life size blow up doll…. ?

Is it bad I really want to know what's in the bag?!

It's the fact there's a lot of blood, not just time of the month levels. It could be innocent eg dying animal/ someone giving birth but while this is a popular spot for fly tipping, I'd take it to the tip if I had similar get on my duvet ? add to that the bag with at least a plank of wood in...

I'm probably not allowed to share the photo I took!

Not an item as much as a creature .... I was riding through a wood one day and came across a beautiful peacock just hanging out with his pheasant pals. Turns out it had wandered off from the garden of a large, country mansion house nearby. No idea if they ever caught it. I sort of hope it lived out its days enjoying its freedom ..... :)

The police have emailed an update, theyve attended but apparently its just dumped rubbish and nothing concerning from a criminal point of view.

I guess I can now add a photo as there's no investigation. Warning, photo contains item with blood on

There is a breeding colony of umbrellas on the road where we take Hermosa and Caso on their walks. A few weeks ago, there was one umbrella in the hedge. Then last week, there were two. Today, there were three. Will there be four next time we go that way? Watch this space and see.

Not surprised you were concerned, I would have reported it too ?
Glad it’s nothing worse than ‘rubbish’
