Weird Yard Owner

Well many of you know that ive more or less got my own yard, share it with 2 other horses (YOs daughter and girlfriend), anyway hes been getting really weird with me, not a nasty weird but hes been super nice to me.

Couldnt get transport to a show yesterday, he has a double horsebox and offered to take me there in the morning, but I refused as he wouldnt be back in time for him to take his daughter or gf to it. I got really upset about it as it would be my first show and i was looking forward to it for weeks.

He sent me a message last night saying 'Im really sorry about the show today, your horse would have won hands down, how can i help put a smile on that pretty face'. I said for a laugh to give me a weeks free livery, he replied 'Only if we see you at the yard more' and i laughed thinking it was a joke.

However this morning he sent me a message saying 'Would a hug with the free livery help? Remember you dont own me mony until next week'

Hes normally grumpy at times, but hes never once been like that with me. Even offered me the chance to use his jacuzzi bath to see if it will help my back. I refused lol.

Im married and expecting a baby next year, so find it all weird
 
He obviously fancys you thats what i think, some men go all daft over a pregnant woman etc, think id keep your distance 2bh and not return his txts or keep answers short and if you do see him make it firm but friendly that your so happy with your man etc, most men will bk off then but some dont good luck sounds like ur gonna need it !

I think you should either get the hell out or put him straight, right from the word go, otherwise you could find yourself in a compromising position. If that were me, i'd be off like a shot. Be careful.
 
I thought all YO's were seriously weird one way or another until I moved to my current yard. Been there years and no sign of weirdness yet.

Ditto, does the YO know that you are pregnant? Talk about hubby lots and get him to go more with you
 
Lol, hubby is with me everytime im at the yard, and yes he knows im pregnant. He didnt get his hug and i spent the day talking about how great my hubby is lol.

Gave him the weeks livery today, would rather keep everything business like.

I really dont want to leave the yard, its amazing, im happy and so are the horses. After the crap 2 yards ive been at i finally feel at home!
 
Ohhh welcome to my club LOL

I rent stables and grazing off a local farmer, I am the only person there - he has real thing for me

if I say something like "my husband and I are trying to decide on somewhere hot to go on holiday on february" he'll say "oh everywhere you go is hot!" EEEK!!!!!!

I just keep it all smiley and keep talking non stop and about absolute rubbish when he's hanging around so he doesn't get much of a chance to be slimey LOL
