Weirdly useful non horsey items

Now this is a fun one, everybody’s favourite/most useful non horsey item that they use with horses.

I will go first,
Shower/ soap bar organiser I hang on the side of one of my rug racks to store spray bottles in! It just fits them perfectly and makes me so happy!
I can post a picture if anyone is Interested.

The best one for me are squeezy sauce bottles. I use them for anything messy that needs to be applied through floof & feather, so Killitch Feb-Nov and pig oil & sulphur through the muddy months. I get them here - similar ones are available, but I like the click cap to stop spillage.

A loo brush for wellie boot cleaning and another for bucket cleaning.

99p plastic funnel for decanting fly spray from large bottles into spray sized bottles.

a net for pet fish, to get straw out of that freshly scrubbed water bucket!

Kids detangle spray as a cheap everyday mane spray.

Garden wheelie buckets perfectly fit a tub trug in them so you can do waters easily without hurting your back.

Breast pads used over the top of the poultice to make a nice neat package.

Kid’s fishing net for getting earthworms out of the water bins without getting your hands wet.

Cheap potties and a bit of sand / earth make great jump fillers and ideal for practicing down and out jumping until you can jump one on its own in the middle of the school.

White marker pen will scribble over last minute stains on a rope halter at a show.

Oh and hair bands, stick a few in your first aid kit so you can quickly whip up a tail to keep hocks clear or stick up your own hair in an emergency

Absolutely everything has a home because he loves putting stuff away. Tali’s hoof boots hanging up on a wall in a row is my favourite. I never asked for it, just came to find them there
