A couple of weeks ago we welcomed home a new addition to the family...

Introducing, wee Fionnlagh, he's a Working Golden Retriever and the nephew of our other boy Ruaridh.

After expecting Ruaridh to be jealous he's proved us wrong and taken to his Uncle duties beautifully and the pair of them have bonded brilliantly. I can't believe how gentle he is with him when they're playing.

I'm fairly smitten, he's a clever wee chap. House training proved to be a breeze, he's picked up his name, and we're slowly introducing sit and come commands. It'll be one week since his second vaccination on Wednesday, and I can't wait to take him down to the yar to start introducing him to Harry.

Good looking puppy , how do you pronounce his name?
Thank you, I think so too, but I might be biased 😉. The easiest way to pronounce his name is if you imagine regular Finlay, but with a slight "Fee-on", and less of a harsh "ay" at the end, more of an "eh." So Fee-onn-leh.
Two dogs named after hair colours, Ruaridh stems from Red King, and Fionnlagh is Fair Warrior.
