So I walk Dex with the kennelled rescue dogs sometimes from the kennels he came from. Usually he is way to over excited to really "meet" any of the dogs, as understandably they are hugely over excited too (may only get walked 2-3 times a week, depending on volunteers). We were out for 3 hours and he waited nicely outside the kennels whilst the girls swapped dogs etc
Today the ginger gobshite was acting like a stooge dog- was calm, greeted nearly all of the 12 other dogs we walked with, and had a huge impact on some of the less social dogs there with his body language and general demenor, they all wanted to walk next to him and two of the less social girlies were utterly smitten (one spent the entire time with her nose up his butt- sniffing- she does not like other dogs period!!)- the other just kept licking his face he just took it all in his stride

Only slight down side- blumming thing found the biggest muddiest puddle on the way back and wallowed in it like a hippo!!!- Gross!
Progress- FINALLY
