Offered them some 'feedback' re: their dressage on Sunday....well run, friendly event unfortunately marred by a dog agility/flyball class taking place right next to the lorry park. Have never heard noise like it....screaming, shrieking, wailing....sounded like people were being murdered/had escaped from an asylum (the dogs themselves were no trouble and were probably mortified at the behaviour of their owners).

The horses were petrified before they got off the lorry and tacking them up in the midst of a bunch of wailing banshees wasn't the easiest of experiences. I know it's all very well getting young horses used to different environments but I'm not sure that was quite necessary....I've seen less gurning and shrieking in an Essex nightclub at 3am.

Received a prompt response from Pachesham saying that they had previously considered it not fitting well with dressage competitions, that they don't understand the noise levels either, and they won't be running the two events on the same day again....nice to be listened to :D

Nice that they have acknowleged it to be an issue!
Agility/flyball is great fun but yes, noise levels not compatible with a dressage test!!!

Luckily for us, we were untacking and loading up by the time it got started in earnest, but it was loud and the banshee-like whooping

Good for Pachesham, as you say :)
