I've just looked at the forum for the first time since getting back from the racing at Dingley (Rosie's ride didn't happen in the end but we had a great time). Thank you all for the congratulations - I think Rosie was a bit lucky this time. In fact, she was worried that she would have time penalties herself XC as she went pretty fast and when she heard Mary's dressage score she was convinced she'd be beaten especially as Mary rarely has a jump down let alone penalties XC.
Anyway, I guess they'll both be off to Weston Park in October so fingers crossed for the pair of them.
 
Marys XC was scarily fast, so fast coming in to finish that the horse was flat and clattering the last two fences, looked at one point as if she had left a leg behind.

Rosie made a good decision to run very early though asit got seriously hot later.
 
Just a quickie - Rosie was on msn earlier and I sent her a link to this thread. Her reaction was - "wow, how come people who don't even know me can say such kind things, aren't they great".
She was (supposedly) revising for geography and maths gcse exams tomorrow at the time and I think you've all helped to put her into a very positive frame of mind! Thanks guys

I saw her set off cross country and she certainly looked like she meant business! I think I saw a bit about her on Eventing Worldwide too. That'll make her even more positive for her exams!
