Well, I ordered some sheep pellets from my local SCATS to arrive in shop on Friday's delivery, rang to check they were in and they weren't, but another branch had 14 bags, 50 miles away. I rang them and asked if there was any way I could get a bag to my local shop - did they have a van delivery branch to branch or something. Popped out to the yard and when I came back in I had a message on the ansaphone which said that the under manager could do a detour via my house on his way home with a bag of nuts. They then said did I want to pay by card on the phone but I said I'd got the cash and would give him the money when he got here, he arrived with the nuts only to say that he'd paid for it on his own card so I paid HIM the cash back. He is now going to be the Manager of my local SCATS and wants to know what horsey things we want in the shop or if there is anything they don't stock which we would like to see. How's that for good service!:)

That's good, you should write a letter to his head office and tell them and hopefully he will be held as a good example.
I used to love it when customers would acknowledge my good work to my bosses (and I would find a bottle of nice vino on my desk as a well done :D).

Our local SCATS are great! Great feed and country store. Real service you got there and yes it's nice to hear praise instead of complaints and whingeing!

I love SCATS and shop there a lot, their prices are excellent - I bought a John Whitaker numnah there a few weeks ago and then, in a fit of madness, decided to buy the matching bandages. I looked at them online and was going to order some but thought I'd check SCATS out first. Thank goodness I did, they were over £6 cheaper than the cheapest online price and I didn't have to pay postage :)

I would definiely let them know how pleased you are with their great service because that will be remembered if you have a problem with something in the future and could resolve a problem.

I am a great fan of Scats, my daughter has had a saturday job there for a year, they are quite an old fashioned company and really value and look after their staff. The discount comes in handy too of course... :D
