So have been practising loading 2 year old and he was just about getting it so decided he was ready for his first show!
Went down yesterday got him alll bathed and looking good and he was really well beahved, been practising all week inhand and we just about got that.
So went down at 6.30am so had plenty of time to get him ready and going etc, one hour later we are still trying to get him into trailer and he was having none of it, and we missed our show lol it was because he hadn't been out to see his friends as he had been stabled for the night.
I went and watched the show and there was only 5 in the class so he would have at least got 6th so now we will have to have even more loaidng sessions and look forward to the next one

Mine gets right grumpy if I take her straight from the stable to the horsebox without turning her out and she protests for about 15 mins although will go in eventually. I now everytime put her out in the field for at least half hour/hour and she walks straight up the box every time. Luckily our fields are 30 seconds walk from the stables. Only time it's inconvenient is if it's raining but I always get up an hour before to do some extra chores whilst she's grazing and it's a much more pleasant calming loading experiance.
