This isn't an advert first of all. I just need a place to clear my thoughts and hopefully get some kind words and advice as I am a bit of loss at the moment.

Well I posted a while ago about a relationship break down and how I may have to get rid of the horse. It's rubbish at the moment but to enable myself to live and have the roof over my head I can't afford my lad and it's breaking my heart :-( .

So I now need to either sell or loan him out. But I don't have a clue how much to charge, how to go about it or anything? So where do I start? I've never sold a horse on or loaned one out. I'm a bit of a loss.

Sorry your going through a difficult time, and having to sell your horse cannot make it any easier.

Could you loan him, possibly loan with view to buy, if you made it a slightly longer period of time if things change for you, you could then have him back.

It is not a great time to be selling so weigh up your options, loan , share, send to a selling yard, or deal with it yourself, word of mouth is a good place to start.

If you want some idea on price send me a pm then there is no risk of it being an ad;)
Where in the country are you as prices seem very varied at the moment.

Sorry to hear about your situation, must be really hard. I'd ask around locally to see if you can find a sharer or a loan home first off. I don't have any advice to offer about selling I'm afraid, but just to say that I hope things get better for you soon.

Poor you.
What a terrible situation to be in.

What about working livery?

Sharing or loaning could be an option.
try your local tack shops, ask farriers ect.

Put adverts in local papers too.
