Oh gawd! Well the saddler came today and got out the saddles to try on my boy and I nearly keeled over when the first was a Hubertus Smidt Passier then a few more which didn't fit and the Ultima.
Can anyone answer me why its only ever the expensive saddles that fit my horse?
Its second hand vgc and incredibly comfortable, put it on the stressmeister who normally is a tad la la about having saddles put on and on I got with no saddle cloth. He has never just had a saddle on and is very prissy as he's had spinal surgery. Normally he will swish and kick out if he's unhappy, not a squeak! He even stood in the school whilst I chatted about, gulp, prices to the saddler.
I feel like I'm sitting in it as opposed to on it as I did with my previous saddle and I'm chuffed. Now I've got to save up for an ultima girth.
So I can join Katie Price with our hopes of getting to 2012! I'm determined to be there wearing my top hat and tails, ok so I'll be the only twit sitting in the stands but hey ho I'll wave at the camera, a decent percentage in a prelim with him will suffice first!
