I was basking in 23 degrees during the day last week and 12 at night, it is going down to 1 tonight and only got up to 9 degrees today so a definite chill in the air, funnily enough I quite liked it as it was lovely and sunny all day which is my favourite winter weather.

I've just looked beyond Tuesday and rain is forecast solid for 10 days and I'm not looking forward to that 🙈.

I'm really not liking these mild wet winters we seem to be getting now.

Same for us last week, shorts back on and lovely warm weather. But I do like a proper autumn day, which it was today.
Same here it was a lovely day, I will miss my shorts though😒

We are going to our house in Fuerteventura beginning of November so I can get them washed and wear them again for a few days at least until next year.

I'll get the chance for shorts when I go on holiday in November. That said, I only normally wear shorts in the UK when going for a run.😁

Did some gardening and there was a really bite to the air, however I hate the heat so much prefer this especially as it's supposed to be autumn. Not quite at the point of putting the lovely thick duvet on the bed yet but looking forward to it!

I put my autumn PJs on for the first time last night. I don't really need them in bed, but getting out of bed in the morning is now getting chilly. Still in the autumn duvet though.

I still have my 4 tog summer one I get really hot sleeping and only ever go up to a 7 tog.

I really feel the cold in bed. I'm sure when I climb under the duvet my body temperature drops to negative figures! 😱
I would love that and it has to be baltic before I change it, I just put an over quilt on top for my poor oh who freezes in winter because of my menopause 😂
However, since starting menopause, it's a little later in the year than it used to be that I need the full winter duvet on.

I was on a Greek island last week so am really feeling the cold this weekend! Put on summer clothes to ride today and thought my legs were going to fall off. Horses are still out but rugged last night and tonight as clipped and I've got thick trackie bottoms, alpaca socks, a long sleeved thermal top and my Oodie on this evening AND the heating's on. It's bloody freezing.

And the winter duvet went on yesterday. Was shivering Friday night.

i have a 13.5 tog duvet all year round🤣

today is my kind of weather - dry, cold enough that i don’t have to keep taking layers on and off, but not so cold that i regret ever having horses! besides having to wait for the frosty grass to melt, but even that isn’t so bad as my field gets the sun pretty early

Put the central heating on this evening. Was quite chill. Fetching in the horses at night from Wednesday for the winter. Is it nearly spring yet??

I love my leccy blanket 🥰
My hubby is my leccy blankie😂

But seriously this is just next to my work, a house went on fire from a brand new leccy blanket a few weeks ago. Woman was bathing her little girl 3 and put it on for her, next thing , burning 🔥 and they fled the house, there is nothing left 😣IMG_0698.jpeg

Second day of frost here. Was a glorious day yesterday, wish it would continue. Dreading the rain that is forecast, I hate getting wet. My heating actually came on yesterday. It has been coming on first thing for a day or two but yesterday it came on at lunchtime and evening as well. It is set for an hour morning and lunchtime and three hours in the evening.
