I have not been having a good time at work much lately. But today I got to ride one of the horses I have wanted to ride for a long time, a lovely little hanoverian mare who I have always admired whenever I've watched her in the school. She can do just about every dressage movement and makes them all look easy. I got to take her for a hack and she was so enthusiastic and willing. We practised lateral work across the fields and she just did everything I asked instantly, it was great! So I was in a good mood for awhile. Hopefully I might get to ride her again tomorrow as her owner is away. Will give me one thing to look forward to as otherwise my job is driving me mad at the moment!
