i couldnt do it this year coz my boy is still lame and waiting to have nerveblocks done but watching the begining of the class at the bath and west today and it was absolutley packed. the horses were very unsettled going round with eachother and most had no space awarness and were going round in cluster with each other resulting in one horse kicking another in the back leg really quite hard, but the rider just rode off like nothing had happened and the other rider thinking sh*t that horse has just kicked mine and im sorry but i think thats blo0dy rude ( not really bothered if your reading this coz it was rude) even if you just checked with the rider if the horse was ok or a sorry. anyway mini rant over, the shows i saw the horses went beautifaly for the ride judge and will be interested to know who won if anyone saw it. i know a HHOer was competing in it today so would love to know how you did.
here something for you to answer. do your ride in a double just because its a show and it looks better or do you ride in what the horse goes better in?? the majority bar 3 horses were all in double bridles and rugbys and quite a few of the with there noses up in the air but some of them going nicley and the ones in snaffles went lovely. just a questoin. i think my legs might fall off from doing to much shopping!!
