Staring out of my window at work when I see a horse (on it's own) trot past.
There is a livery stables next to work, our office and then a drive leading to the road.
I legged it out of the office and up the drive behind the horse (trying very hard not to 'drive' her towards the road)
Luckily there were a couple of cyclists at the end of the drive who herded her back my way.
We then had a lovely walk back to the yard.
By the look of her she had either forced her way through a hedge or a fence because the had wealts down one side of her (skin not broken).
Someone came to claim her so I hope all was ok.
Lovely pretty chestnut mare though - I could have happily smuggled her home!
