Considering how ill my YO is she had to come up today and sort the lady out who has been trying to take over. She wiped off the sign the lady had put up about everyone having to turn out their own horses and has told us we can either turn out ourselves or pay 50p a morning to have her daughter turn out for us. She also put the lady straight and told her if agreements have been made for everyone to bring own horses in then she shouldnt have the cheek to bring peoples horses in when they are there to bring them in themselves. So least thats sorted!
I talked to the owners of the poor little grey pony, explained they need to get her checked over and that she really is in poor condition. She is walking a little better today and the slash looks more like and old wound but we think shes done something to her back leg muscles. Which may be because owner is so determind to have the little 13hh pony in the bigger field so can keep his 17hh gelding company that we think shes having all the bigger horses trying to mount her which isnt very good considering her size. I have told him if she isnt sold by the time i have the herd come then i will pay £300 and sort her out myself.
As for the annoying brats, i told the girl today who rumours have it that she hits horses with sticks to get hers out that field that if she hits mine i may not be quite responible for my actions as i think thats why Buddy had a backwards moment before because he became very scared of the lunging whip which started it off.
Just hope things go peaceful again now.
