today i thought i would leave jazz with a day bed (small amount of bedding on the floor to allow for easier mucking out in the evening), well that just wasn't good enough for Princess Jasmine!!! she decided she wanted a full bed on the floor and dug out all her banks.

remind me never to think the easy option will be easy!!!

Most people leave nice tidy banks .... I on the other hand, just brush back the bed, leave a bank .

Totally pointless me levelling the banks etc as the big eared, long legged donkey just trashes it

.

Although I have to give her credit when it comes to adding new bales of shavings, it can be tough enough breaking up the bale, but I on the other hand let Madam do the breaking up, I actually don't even get near the bale as shes right in there breaking it up and pawing at it shoving it with her big eared head

Missy and Porridge are deffo one and the same then - I used to put a bale of straw in her stable and leave it, she would have mucho fun being a mountain goat and climbing all over it, pawing it and rolling in/on it, strange pony!

we let Tom break up bales of shavings too.. he seems to think the whole idea is to get as much of the bale in your wellies tho!

we're on pellets this year, which took some getting used to, as he has to check them when he comes in on a night, in case any of the un fluffed up ones are pony nuts... fool of an overgrown pony

Merlin wasnt content with the easy bed that filled half his stable......

Two nights ago he added a whole door which is.... er sorry, was.... covering up a draughty patch on the side of his stable.

Managed to drag it off the wall and put it on his bed so he couldnt lay down anyway!!!
