Big bay lad stood on my left foot and squashed the toecap so I had to push it back into shape from the inside, big mare stood on my right instep and has grazed the leather (and bruised my foot). Then just to cap a good day I managed to get the lorry out of the yard fine, but getting it back in I got stuck on the ice and and at one point thought I was going to have to leave the horses on all night as I couldn't manoeuvre it so that I could even open the ramp. Shifted it in the end but it is still in the middle of the yard, blocking off the garages and I had to unload onto sheet ice instead of the carefuly cleared area I had made.
